Sixth graders recite and act out memorized poems
during the Giggle Poetry Cafe, one of the culminating activities for the understanding
poetry unit. Students in the audience, while sipping hot chocolate and munching
on snacks, enjoyed the presentations. Later, the class discussed the themes
and images of the poems!
